Today marks the 3rd annual International Day of Happiness. The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution, which decreed that the International Day of Happiness would be observed every year on March 20th. This movement was coordinated by Action for Happiness, a non-profit that is comprised like-minded organizations from 160 countries. The International Day of Happiness 2015 invites everyone to focus on his or her connections with others. Their website explains what true happiness is and how to achieve it with the acronym GREAT DREAM: G-giving R-relating E-exercising A-appreciating T-trying out D-direction R-resilience E-emotion A-acceptance M-Meaning. Human connection is necessary to achieve happiness, so let's start connecting with others today!
